With operations in North America and Asia, the company is scaling rapidly to support increasing retailer demand and margin pressure.
The Mandate
The Vice President, Asian Sourcing will lead all sourcing, vendor management, and product development activities across the Asia region. Based in Montreal and reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will oversee sourcing offices, supplier networks, and end-to-end procurement strategy. The goal is to enhance cost competitiveness, reduce lead times, improve quality standards, and ensure reliable, scalable product flow into North America.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned sourcing executive who understands how to balance speed, compliance, and cost in complex international supply chains. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across China, Vietnam, and emerging Southeast Asian markets, as well as fluency in retail timelines, product categories, and factory dynamics.

Ideal Profile

15+ years of sourcing and supply chain leadership in retail, general merchandise, or private label categories

Deep knowledge of Asia-Pacific sourcing markets including China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, and emerging alternatives

Experienced in managing regional offices, supplier relationships, and international teams

Strong understanding of product development, vendor negotiations, testing, and compliance requirements

Demonstrated success optimizing cost, quality, and speed across diverse product lines

Culturally fluent, with strong leadership presence and communication skills

Fluent in English; Mandarin or another regional language is a strong asset

Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain, or related field
