Bring operational precision and scheduling discipline to a leading aluminum extrusion manufacturer.
About the Company
Our client is a top North American manufacturer of aluminum extrusions, serving industries such as automotive, construction, transportation, and consumer goods. With 650+ employees and five Ontario-based facilities—including state-of-the-art anodizing and fabrication operations—the company has built a reputation for quality, technical innovation, and on-time delivery.
Owned by a major private equity firm, the company has grown significantly through investment in advanced equipment, vertical integration, and facility expansion. As complexity rises, so does the need for production planning excellence and tighter operational coordination.
The Mandate
This newly created leadership role reports to the Director of Operations and serves as the central command post for daily production execution. The Manager, Production Planning & Control will be responsible for driving discipline, predictability, and cross-functional alignment across all plant activities.
From setting the production schedule to managing disruption and coordinating materials, maintenance, and shipping, this individual ensures the plant delivers on its output targets—safely, efficiently, and on time. It’s a highly visible role with ownership over results, continuous improvement, and performance rhythm.

-
Strong ERP/MRP experience, with fluency in EPICS or similar platforms.

Strategic and analytical, but thrives in hands-on, shift-based settings.

Influential communicator—able to lead through influence, bring clarity to complexity, and command respect across teams.

Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business preferred.
