The impact you will have:
The Principal is part of a highly collaborative team with the responsibility for building strong partnerships with clients through new and existing business development efforts. This includes working closely with the assigned search execution team in the delivery of utmost quality within the required timescales. The role is that of a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Successfully execute search assignments brought into the firm by a Partner.
- Project manage and play a critical role in the entire search execution process from candidate development to client management.
- Have deep market and/or functional knowledge and be valued as an expert in their industry and/or functional area.
- Assist in business development by providing superior client service, supplying leads to Partners on potential new business, and enhancing current client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with hiring managers to scope search project by obtaining information that clearly defines the specifics of the job including the responsibilities, requirements, compensation, company culture, etc.
- Successfully communicate each candidate’s experience and qualifications for the opportunity and advise client on candidate background, expertise and career potential.
- Manage and negotiate both the selection and offer process including but not limited to, candidate compensation, benefits, relocation, and pre-close of the candidate.
- Manage recruitment life cycle from search kick-off through closure to ensure “time to fill” goals are achieved.
- Develop, drive, and manage strong business relationships with clients to ensure successful placements and guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Drive new business with existing customers and prospects and develop relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with candidates by providing superior candidate care including clearly defining position requirements and recruiting process, timely updates on progress, interview preparation and debriefing.
- Ensure interviews are scheduled and confirmed in a timely manner, applicant tracking system compliance and that all HR and/or recruiting-related correspondence are sent to candidates.
- Responsible for identifying and leveraging new recruitment and business development sources.

What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of business experience
- 5+ years of experience in cold calling, developing search strategies and client/candidate management.
- Business development / Account management experience.
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly learn about different business environments and cultures by asking the right questions.
- Consultative mindset and ability to anticipate client needs.
- Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results.
- Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-initiative along with the ability to respond quickly to client requests.
- Ability to be an effective team member and, as needed, to handle project leadership responsibility.
- Willing and able to adapt to new processes and effectively deal with change.
- PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
