As the company expands into new markets and product lines, it is investing in leadership to build out a proactive, scalable industrial sales channel.
The Mandate
The Industrial Sales Manager will build and lead the newly created Industrial Sales department. Reporting to the VP of Business Development & Growth, you’ll shape strategy, coach a hybrid team of inside and outside sales professionals, and drive revenue growth across key verticals.
This is a rare opportunity to shift a reactive sales function into a structured, data-driven, customer-first engine. You’ll bring vision and process, but also roll up your sleeves to guide account development, manage RFQs and RFPs, and serve as a trusted advisor to major industrial clients.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 12–18 months:

Define and execute a targeted sales strategy across industrial and commercial sectors.

Build, train, and scale a performance-driven sales team with clear metrics and accountability.

Grow share-of-wallet with key accounts and develop new customer segments through proactive outreach.

Leverage CRM data and sales analytics to uncover trends, improve forecasting, and guide strategy.

Align sales activities with marketing, purchasing, and operations to ensure seamless execution and customer experience.
Ideal Profile

10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial supply, construction, or manufacturing environments.

5+ years leading sales teams with a track record of revenue growth and market expansion.

Deep familiarity with tools, fasteners, safety products, and consumables preferred.

Skilled at managing complex buying cycles, customizing solutions, and building long-term customer relationships.

Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting platforms; NetSuite experience a plus.

Entrepreneurial, collaborative leader who brings structure, vision, and energy to a high-potential team.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
