The Mandate
As Head of AI Research, you will define and lead the company’s machine learning research strategy — shaping how AI and computer vision transform the beauty experience. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll lead a world-class team of AI scientists, work cross-functionally with product and engineering, and represent the company at the forefront of global AI innovation. Your work will directly influence product pipelines, push the boundaries of generative and multimodal AI, and solidify the company’s leadership in beauty tech.

Ideal Profile

PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field

10+ years in AI/ML research, with a strong track record of publications and applied impact

Proven experience building and leading research teams in a high-performance, innovation-focused environment

Expertise across AI/ML domains — especially computer vision, LLMs, generative AI, and diffusion models

Published at major conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH

Strategic thinker who balances experimentation with delivery; able to translate abstract ideas into commercial applications

Clear and confident communicator able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
