The Mandate
As Maintenance Manager, you will own the performance, discipline, and development of the maintenance team at the Windsor plant. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee a group of 15+ skilled trades and planners, champion equipment uptime, and ensure alignment between maintenance and broader plant performance goals. This role is hands-on and strategic — requiring both strong leadership and deep technical knowledge to drive a culture of safety, precision, and accountability.
Key priorities include:

Leading preventive maintenance using CMMS (Megamation or equivalent)

What Success Looks Like (Year 1 Outcomes)

Equipment uptime exceeds 94%, with plant downtime below 5%

Preventive maintenance program is fully implemented and optimized in CMMS

Spare parts and work order systems are running with rigor and transparency

Maintenance team operates independently, with improved troubleshooting capabilities and strong shift coverage

Routine-based planning and reporting reduce reactivity and improve visibility

Strategic support is provided for facility expansion and integration of additional presses
Ideal Profile
-
15+ years in maintenance within industrial, automotive, or metal manufacturing
-
5+ years in a formal leadership role managing skilled trades across shifts
-
Technically skilled in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; fluent with PLCs (Allen-Bradley & Siemens)

Proven success building structure, driving accountability, and elevating team performance

Expert in CMMS platforms, especially in managing PM programs, work orders, and inventory

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field

Strong floor presence, disciplined communicator, and cross-functional influencer
