Mandate
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in serving as the financial backbone of the company’s operations in both Canada and the United States. This key position will also play a critical part in supporting the company’s ambitious plans for future expansion.
As a genuine business partner to its esteemed leadership team, you will take the reins in developing cutting-edge reporting tools and crafting essential key performance indicators. These tools will illuminate the performance of the business and the successful execution of its key strategic initiatives.
Your role will extend to actively championing projects, as well as ushering in new business ventures and acquisitions, which are instrumental in propelling the company into fresh channels and product lines. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving change and implementing industry-leading best practices and processes. All of this will be done with a laser focus on aligning with and supporting the overarching strategy of the dynamic and growing group.

What are we looking for?
You must have the following experience to be considered:
- FP&A Expertise: 8-10 years of experience in financial modeling, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Manufacturing Experience: Prior exposure to manufacturing environments, particularly in protein, food, or CPG sectors, is crucial.
- ERP: Exposure to ERP systems.
- Matrix Environment: Experience working in a matrix organizational structure.
- Accounting Designation: CPA/CA/CMA.
