Who you are:
You will have excelled within the finance function at a senior level and are keen to take on your next growth mandate and eager to be part of a leading company in the construction industry. You will have been exposed to various functions throughout your career and can speak with inspiration and passion for a growing construction business. You will be able to step in and become the trusted advisor to the CEO across a multitude of issues, not just finance, as the company expands and grows.
You will bring experience working with a privately held or family-owned business and have expertise in defining and building the finance function that has resulted in the direct expansion of the company. You must have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance as it relates to your impact on the company’s success while possessing the traits of a critical thinker. You must have problem-solving skills, excellent time management, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be a strong leader with an adaptable, innovative mindset, alongside being a great team player.
You will help strategically build the company over the coming years through organic growth, acquisitions, and building the foundation of the company for the next growth phase.
The impact you will have:
Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created role has a simple mission – to be a critical executive partner to the CEO as the company continues its growth. You will be an important member of the leadership team, managing the finance function, while having direct involvement in the business as well.
What are we looking for?
Candidates must have the following experience to be considered:
- 12+ years working at a leadership level overseeing financing function.
- Experience in managing banking relationships.
- Proven financial leadership within high-growth organizations.
- Proven track record in driving profitability through operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of project accounting.
- Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree/certificate in accounting/finance along with successfully achieving their CPA designation.
