Who you are:
You are operations professional with 10+ years of progressive operations management experience across the supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and transportation. You will have experience in distribution, food retail, or pharma, and will be familiar with the complexities of handling perishable items with different temperature zones and best-before dates.
The impact you will have:
You will oversee the warehouse and supply chain operations, manage the implementation of a new ERP system, and identify opportunities to improve the transportation strategy while managing three warehouse managers and a team of around 125 people. You will be responsible for managing the company’s largest profit and loss statement, which spans both warehouse and transportation operations and ranges between $40M to $50M annually.
You will develop and implement KPIs and metrics to assess the success of operations, measure ROI and implement KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
You will provide leadership and guidance to the warehouse managers and team, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement, and driving overall operational excellence.
What are we looking for?
Candidates must have the following experience to be considered:
- 10+ years of experience in operations management in a distribution, food, retail, or pharma environment
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Dynamics, or SAP
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functions.
