Our client is a consumer manufacturing company located in Toronto (West end). They are a $100M+ privately held, family operated business that employs over 150 people in 4countries.
They are in the process of selecting and/or building their own ERP System. Due to the nature of the products and business, an off the shelf solution does not exist.
They would like to have an interim IT executive who has a track record of ERP implementations and ideally someone who knows how to build out a system to join their senior leadership team until the project is complete.
For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to join the company longer-term as they currently do not have an IT, leader. The previous head of IT was with the company for 30+Yrs and retired last year. The company has unsuccessfully been using various “IT consultants” to help transition there IT system over while exploring ERP options under the guidance of a “Big 4 ” accounting firm. The current IT team is 2-3 people.
It is expected that the mandate will be for a period of 1 year or longer. The expectation is to be in the office 2-3 days a week with the rest of the time working remotely.
