You will be able to manage ambiguity, identify opportunities, and be comfortable flexing between strategy and the nitty-gritty of execution. You are highly strategic and can balance both critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Above all, you are proactive, positive, and inspired by your client’s mission. You must be a focused, tenacious, and determined professional who possesses a strong vision and will be able to highlight opportunities beyond the initial strategy in an innovative culture. This is a hands-on, get-things-done role, to be a part of developing the sourcing strategy and having a seat at the leadership table type of opportunity.

What you will need to be successful:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, and managing strategic sourcing alliances, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Supplier relationship management experience. Ability to negotiate contractual agreements to secure optimal pricing terms.
- Experience in a B2B environment with the conversion of commodity raw materials into a value-added product
- Strong knowledge and experience of sophisticated sales tools, processes, metrics, and CRM systems.
