Who you are:
You will be an experienced generalist HR professional with a desire to build and grow an HR function. You will have been exposed during your career to an entrepreneurial environment and best practices in a non-unionized environment. You will bring a track record of strategically aligning a company’s vision with innovative talent management programs. You will be a creative and upbeat professional that can provide both strategic and functional leadership while shaping the company’s evolving culture and driving the acquisition and development of the next generation of leadership.

The impact you will have:
As the head of Human Resources for this company, your mandate will be to build an HR function that is seen as a strategic partner and integral to the growth of the company. You will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources and will lead significant change initiatives that impact organizational growth, strategy implementation, and cultural transformation. You will strategically partner with business units and the senior leadership team to meet Kooy Brother’s goals and will own the success of all areas of HR, including operations, talent acquisition, engagement, management, training and development, rewards, retention, and culture.
What are we looking for?
Candidates must have the following experience to be considered:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- 4+ years leading an HR function.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in building an HR Function.
- Experience with a manufacturing/industrial workforce.
- A bachelor’s degree and the completion of a professional designation program (CHRP or equivalent).
