The impact you will have:
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role’s mandate is to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The role will be divided between Financial Operations, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Cash flow Management, and Treasury and Payroll duties.
What are we looking for?
Candidates must have the following experience to be considered:
- Overall Experience: 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
- Controller Experience: Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Tech-Savvy- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Leadership Skills: Ability to direct and supervise staff
- Education: CPA or CA designation. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Travel: Open to coming into the office in a hybrid setup 2-3 days a week (west side of GTA)
