Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the senior leadership team, charting the course toward operational excellence through transformative initiatives. Your expertise in change management and commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be instrumental in maximizing operational performance, elevating customer satisfaction, achieving both short and long-term growth objectives, and ultimately bolstering the financial bottom line.
As the COO, you will lead the organization in deeply understanding the transportation and warehousing industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. Staying ahead of industry developments, you will leverage your knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, ensuring that our client remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
What are we looking for?
To be considered you must have the following experience:
- 10+ years of progressively senior operations leadership experience within warehouse/distribution and/or transportation.
- Demonstrated experience improving operational efficiencies, preferably within a multi-site operation.
- Experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) $50M+, preferably within a multiple cost centre/multi-P&L environment.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated success in establishing company-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Demonstrated success in streamlining operations, and improving efficiencies, with quantifiable outcomes.
